Letter from the Site's Author

Dear students,

This web site is primarily for the use of my CSU Dominguez Hills students; however, others interested in the lecture topics are, of course, free to use it.

My web site is designed around my lecture notes. It is my hope that by providing you, my students, with the lecture notes, you can sit back and listen to lecture, look at the Power Point presentations and transparencies I show, and ask questions of me during the lecture on points you do not understand.

Of course I also hope that you will pre read, or at least scan, the lecture notes before the lecture. Then you will be better prepared to ask clarifying questions during lecture. Be assured that I encourage the asking questions in lecture….the other students will be happy that you did what they wanted to do!

The success and usefulness of this web site depends on you, the user, offering feedback. Additionally, I hope you will e-mail me whenever you find errors of commission and omission. You can even earn bonus points for reporting errors of fact or grammar. You may offer the feedback or bring any errors to my attention by e-mailing me at , going to this site's contact page or by giving me"hard copy" during my office hours (see syllabus) or before or after your lecture.
